Sean Richardson – Youth Minister

Sean Richardson - Youth Ministor
Sean Richardson

Sean grew up in the pluff mud of Murrells Inlet, spending many summer days surfing and fishing the creeks.  He graduated from CCU with a BS in Marine Science and a Minor in Physics.  After graduating Sean spent two years at Camp St Christopher teaching experiential education as a naturalist at Barrier Island Environmental Education Center.  He worked two years teaching middle and high school science at Myrtle Beach Christian Academy.  Sean answered a calling to be the Youth Minister at St Paul’s Church in June 2007. He has a desire to see students and families actively engaged in an authentic relationship with Jesus.

Sean married his longtime friend Robin in October 2012.  They have 2 sons: Banks (4) and Flynn (2).  Sean loves spending time with his family, surfing, fishing, and golfing.  He has a huge heart for missions and leads trips to the Caribbean island of Haiti.

Sean’s favorite verse is Hebrew 12:1-2…

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.”
