Calling All Men
Jesus said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
(Mattew 4:19)

Is there a future for men in the church?  Of course there is.  But what will that future look like?  Jay Crouse seeks to answer that question in his book:  Men And The Church.  Jay is the Director of Men’s Ministry for the Diocese of South Carolina and he has been involved ministering to men for the past 29 years.  His book is the result of his experience ministering and discipling men.
Jay will be with us at St. Paul’s on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 6:30PM to discuss his book and to discuss the future of men in the church.  ALL MEN ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND.  The event is open to the community, so please bring a friend.  Dinner is provided, so please RSVP to the church office at stpauls@sccoast.net or (843) 248-4706.  God has a glorious future for men at St. Paul’s.  Come and see what it may be like.

Faithfully,
Jason +

“Men in the Church:  Is There a Future?” by Jay Crouse.

Tuesday, Sept. 26,  6:30pm

There is a future for the men in your church! This study examines the decreasing interest, impact and involvement of men.  Crouse seeks to inform and equip today's Christian men with the tools to fix the gender gap in the 21st century church and welcome men back to the church they have been so pivotal in building up over the past 2,000 years ago. The author will be present to lead this session.
Please invite other men in the community to join you at this event.

All men are invited to join Bishop Lawrence for the Men’s Summit on Saturday, September 30, 2017.  Please sign up at http://www.diosc.com/sys/ministries/mens-ministry.
View a video invitation from Bishop Lawrence here:  https://vimeo.com/228730344
The church bus is available for men to use who would like to carpool to the event.
If you would like to serve on the Altar Guild, please contact Lauri Rinskey.  We have several spots open for men and women.
Did you know the church has a lending library?  Located in the Cranmer Room (through the door closest to the piano, first door on the right), our church library is filled with wonderful books by various authors.  Whether you prefer Agnes Sanford, Billy Graham or Francis Chan, you will find hardbacks and paperbacks to inspire you!  Simply take the book you want, read and enjoy it, and return it to the dropbox on the shelves. No sign-out necessary.
Call the church office for access during the work week or wander back to the Cranmer Room after Sunday worship services.
You’re in for a treat!
